The Daily Acca: A 48/1 Saturday afternoon bonanza

Three points to stay in South Wales

Bet 1: Back Swansea & BTTS @ 3/1 – KO 15:00 GMT

Steve Cooper’s Swans returned to form prior to the international break as they put a couple of defeats behind them to take seven points from a possible nine – including a derby win over Cardiff.

Millwall signed off for the break with two victories from their last three outings, but the key thing here is that both of those successes came at The Den.

Gary Rowett’s side are yet to record a win away from home this term, and four of their eight ended in defeat. They only failed to find the net in two of those eight though, and I believe that they will score against a Swansea defence that have kept just two clean sheets in front of their own fans this year.

Birmingham’s away days blues to continue

Bet 2: Back Huddersfield @ 17/10 – KO 15:00 GMT

Danny Cowley has revived Huddersfield’s fortunes, and while their seven match unbeaten run came to an end at Preston last time, they are a huge price to return to winning ways this afternoon.

The visitors to the John Smith’s Stadium are Birmingham, and they have lost six of their last seven on the road.

The Terriers are unbeaten in four at home – two wins and two draws – and they should prove too strong here.

More fireworks between Sunderland and Coventry

Bet 3: Back The Draw & BTTS in Sunderland v Coventry @ 7/2 – KO 15:00 GMT

This fixture last season was a pretty controversial one, both on and off the pitch, with the Sky Blues running out 5-4 winners by the end.

Mark Robins‘ Sky Blues are third in League One this year, and they are unbeaten in five in this division. They are yet to actually win on their travels this season, but they have only been beaten once.

Phil Parkinson hasn’t exactly hit the ground running since being appointed as manager at the Stadium of Light.

They were knocked out of the FA Cup by Gillingham last time out, and although they have won five of their last six at home in the league, I don’t think they will be good enough to beat Coventry. Expect a few goals though.
