The Daily Acca: A 222/1 tea-time treble

Paul Robinson is concentrating on the three big 17:30 KO’s this evening and he is predicting plenty of goals. Here are his selections:

Emery to get the better of Sarri

Bet 1: Back Arsenal & BTTS @ 9/2 – KO 17:30 GMT

The Gunners need to bounce back from their 1-0 defeat at West Ham last Saturday but they are more than capable of doing so, and they have an excellent record at home this season.

Other than a 2-0 defeat to Manchester City, all the way back in August, Unai Emery’s side haven’t been beaten at the Emirates in the league this year – winning eight and drawing the other two.

Chelsea meanwhile have lost two of their last five Premier League fixtures away from Stamford Bridge, but it is worth noting that they found the net in both of them.

This should be a highly entertaining game with Arsenal taking it to the Blues. The visitors will be dangerous on the counter, and I certainly believe that they will score, but I expect the three points to remain in North London.

Wilder’s men to strengthen their promotion hopes

Bet 2: Back Sheffield United & BTTS @ 7/2 – KO 17:30 GMT

The Blades are one of the form teams of the Championship as they have won their last four matches – scoring three times in three of them. They also kept three clean sheets, but I can’t see them managing that at the Liberty Stadium.

The Swans are in decent form themselves as they are four without defeat in all competitions, and are now only six points off the play-off places.

Their record at home isn’t overly appealing however as it’s just one win from their last five – losing on three occasions. Two of those defeats came against high-flyers, Norwich and West Brom, but Graham Potter’s men still found the net in 1-4 and 1-2 defeats.

Mark O’Haire is also keen on the away win.

Goal-fest in Germany

Bet 3: Back BTTS in Both Halves in RB Leipzig v Dortmund @ 8/1 – KO 17:30 GMT

The most salivating clash of the day comes from Germany as the Bundesliga kicks back into gear with a fixture between RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund that has goals written all over it.

The Infogol analysts have covered the expected goals analysis here and they are going for Over 3.5.

My take is that we will get both teams scoring in both halves. The pair of them will be aiming to fly out of the traps following the winter break, and with Bayern winning last night, Dortmund will want to make their own statement of intent.

The visitors are seeing their matches average 3.65 goals each time this season – the highest in the division – and while Leipzig are down at the 2.82 mark, their two latest home outings ended 4-1 and 3-2.
