The Daily Acca: Fireworks on the South Coast

Spoils to be shared in Sardinia

Bet 1: Back The Draw in Cagliari v Genoa @ 12/5 – KO 19:45 BST

The hosts put their two opening defeats behind them last weekend by winning 3-1 at Parma. They are back on home soil this evening, and while they do need to put those two home losses behind them, they had a decent record in front of their own fans last year.

Genoa had taken four points from their opening two outings – a 3-3 draw at Roma, before winning 2-1 against Fiorentina. A lot of that good work was undone at home to Atalanta on Sunday though, as they fell to a 2-1 defeat.

These two sides finished 15th and 17th last season, and there probably won’t be much between them again this time around. The draw looks like the obvious play.

More goals for Real Betis

Bet 2: Back Over 2.5 Goals in Osasuna v Betis @ 21/20 – KO 20:00 BST

The goals are set to flow in La Liga tonight when Osasuna take on Real Betis.

The visitors did well to come from behind to draw with Getafe on Sunday, as they conceded early and were reduced to 10 men after 25 minutes.

Prior to that, all three of their matches had seen this selection land, and they are yet to play a game where there has been a clean sheet.

Osasuna have only had one of their four outings end with three goals or more, but it did come on this ground, and last year, 14 of their 19 here saw Over 2.5 backers collect.

Don’t expect a clean sheet at St Mary’s

Bet 3: Back BTTS in Southampton v Bournemouth @ 4/7 – KO 20:00 BST

The Saints are on a roll heading into this South Coast Derby, as they put defeats to Burnley and Liverpool behind them to win three and draw one of their next four – three in the league and one in the cup.

The Cherries returned to winning ways last Sunday as they beat Everton 3-1 at the Vitality Stadium. They have had mixed results away from home – one win and one defeat – but this selection landed in both of them.

The same can be said for both of Southampton’s two at St Mary’s this season, and this one should follow suit.
