Dino Djulbic rescued a point for leaders Perth Glory as they extended their winless run to six games with a 2-2 home draw with Brisbane Roar.

Defender Djulbic scored six minutes from time to deny the Roar a fourth straight win, after the visitors had been reduced to 10 men.

Brisbane had defender Corey Brown sent off with 14 minutes left for dragging down Jamie Maclaren and denying the home side a clear goalscoring opportunity.

Glory, who had 19 shots to Brisbane’s 12, deserved a point from the match but will be concerned over a run of four home games without a win.

Perth are 4.00 to win their next game against Melbourne Victory, who are 1.90 with the draw 3.50.

Perth took the lead midway through the first half, Danny De Silva having the easy job of tapping home after Chris Harold had headed left-back Scott Jamieson’s cross into the six-yard box.

Frans Thijssen’s side turned the match on its head with two goals in three minutes, starting when Jean Carlos Solorzano levelled on the hour mark.

The Costa Rican, despite scoring five goals in the last six games, was left on the bench for the nib Stadium clash but again showed his value to the team when he volleyed Brandon Borrello’s cross past Danny Vukovic.

Skipper Matt McKay put the Roar in front with a superb strike from the edge of the area, and they looked on course for a win that would have taken them back into the top six.

But Brown’s red card put them under pressure in the closing stages and they levelled when Dragan Paljic’s cross-shot hit the bar and rebounded for Djulbic to fire home.

The Glory are 13.00 to beat Melbourne Victory 1-0.
