Norwich are marginal favourites to get the better of Middlesbrough when the pair meet in the Championship play-off final at Wembley.
The Canaries joined the north-east outfit in the Bank Holiday Monday showdown after a 3-1 defeat of local rivals Ipswich early on Saturday. That result means the East Anglian outfit have a chance to bounce back into the top-flight after just one season in The Championship.
Early markets on Betfair have Norwich at [2.68] to win in 90 minutes with Boro just a tick or so longer at [2.8], the draw is [3.3]. In the straightforward promotion market Norwich are [1.86] with Boro [2.12].
The two sides finished just a point apart in the final Championship table. However, interestingly perhaps, Aitor Karanka‘s men won both clashes with Norwich this season – they hammered Neil Adams’ struggling side 4-0 at the Riverside, and more impressively beat Alex Neil’s then high-flying Canaries 1-0 at Carrow Road in April.
