Lee Clark left Birmingham City in October 2014.

Lee Clark admits he may lose his job at Blackpool following the home defeat to Wigan Athletic that left them rooted to the foot of the table.

The Seasiders are 1.002 to be relegated this season after losing 3-1 at home to the Latics, 1.25 to go down themselves, and are now 15 points from safety at the foot of the Championship table with only 12 games remaining.

If I lose my job because of the results, I totally accept that.

Clark admits his time at Bloomfield Road may be coming to an end, even though he was only appointed four months ago, having previously been in charge of Huddersfield Town and Birmingham City.

He said: “I accept everything which is coming my way. If I lose my job because of the results, I totally accept that.

“I knew the predicament I was walking into and that there were issues before I came here. I’m trying to change things. I’ve tried different players, different formations and different preparations.

“The results are staying the same but I’m not going to walk away. It’s to the people above us to make a decision if they want something to change, but I won’t be walking away.”

Blackpool are 6.00 to beat Birmingham City at St Andrew’s in their next Championship clash on Wednesday.
