Liam Rosenior is pleased to have sorted out his future by penning a three-year contract with Brighton.
The 30-year-old was released by Hull City at the end of last season after featuring in almost 150 matches for the Tigers.
Former Fulham and Reading defender Rosenior, who becomes Seagulls boss Chris Hughton’s first capture of the summer, said: “It has been a tough summer but at the same time it is the start of a new chapter.
“You always look at things that happen and think there must be a reason why it has happened, and thankfully that reason is that I am now here and I am delighted to be.
“I was very flattered that they were interested, and I am more than happy to have signed and now be a part of the club moving forward.”
Brighton struggled last season but are 9.00 to be promoted from the Championship in the 2015/16 campaign and 2.25 to win their first game of the season on 8th August against Nottingham Forest.
