Middlesbrough head coach Aitor Karanka thinks his players have what it takes to clinch promotion to the Premier League.
Boro beat Brentford to reach the Championship play-off final at Wembley where they will face a Norwich City side that they have already beaten twice this term.
Boro thrashed the Canaries 4-0 on Teesside before edging to a 1-0 victory at Carrow Road in April.
Despite those victories, Boro finished four points adrift of the top two but Karanka still thinks his team is good enough to go up.
All my players know how important this game is for everybody.
He said: “I think it’s going to be impossible to beat them 4-0 again because they have very good players, who were playing last season in the Premier League at the time we were fighting to stay in the Championship.
“The game away, they were attacking us for 60 or 70 minutes, so I don’t think because we beat them twice we’re going to beat them a third time.
“If we go into the game thinking it’s going to be easy because we beat them twice, we are making a big mistake. We’ve been working well all season and this is the last step. All my players know how important this game is for everybody.”
Boro are available at 11.00 to edge the Wembley final 2-1 while a 1-0 victory for Norwich can be backed at 7.00.
