Bolton Wanderers boss Neil Lennon has snapped up the Real Madrid defender Derik Osede while Alex Baptiste has joined Middlesbrough.

The 22-year-old Osede has penned a three-year deal with the Trotters.

He has represented Spain at every level between Under-16 and Under-21 age groups and has flown to Austria with the rest of the Bolton squad for a pre-season training camp.

Meanwhile, Baptiste has inked a three-year contract with Boro after spending the last two seasons at Bolton.

The 29-year-old was signed on a free transfer from Blackpool in the summer of 2013 but spent the whole of last season on loan at Blackburn Rovers.

The former Mansfield Town defender scored four goals in 39 Championship appearances during the 2013/14 campaign for Bolton.

Bolton are 3.30 to win their first game of the season on 8th August against Derby County, who are 2.87 to be promoted from the Championship in 2015/16. Meanwhile, Bolton can be backed at 12.00 to go up.
