Hull City boss Steve Bruce is upbeat about his side’s chances of avoiding relegation following their crucial 2-0 win at Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The Tigers clinched a vital three points thanks to two second-half goals by Dame N’Doye as Bruce’s side ended their six-game winless run in style.
Hull are now 16th in the Premier League table and 3.40 to be relegated this season.
If we play like that then we know we’re capable of producing another couple of results.
“If we think 31 points is enough then we’re far mistaken. We’ve still got five games to go, but we’re in a better position than we were on Saturday morning,” Bruce said after the match.
“We’ve now got four out of five at home against the big boys, but if we play like that then we know we’re capable of producing another couple of results.”
Hull host Liverpool on Tuesday and are 21.00 to win the match 2-0 while a 1-1 darw is available at 7.00 .
After playing Brendan Rodgers’ side, City have to take on Arsenal, Tottenham, Burnley and Manchester United in their final four games.
