Hull City manager Steve Bruce is hopeful that home advantage will be a decisive factor in his side’s battle to escape the threat of Premier League relegation.

The Tigers gave themselves a massive boost by winning 1-0 at home to Liverpool on Tuesday evening, with the three points lifting the Tigers up to 15th place in the table and four points clear of the bottom three.

We have given ourselves an outstanding chance, but that is all it is.

However, Bruce is well aware that there is plenty of work to do, with his side facing a tough final four games of the campaign, although three of them will take place at the KC Stadium.

Next up is a visit from Arsenal, followed by a crunch home clash with Burnley, before a trip to Spurs and the arrival of Manchester United on Humberside round off what promises to be a tense run-in.

“We have still got a bit to do, I don’t think 34 points is enough,” Bruce warned after his side backed up a 2-0 win at Crystal Palace with another three points.

“We have given ourselves an outstanding chance, but that is all it is. You can’t bring the players down and I didn’t want to, but we will certainly remind them that it’s not job done.

“It is never easy in the Premier League against anyone, but home advantage can give you an advantage. The win stands us in good stead, but we have got Arsenal on Monday, so we have to be at our best again.”

Hull are now available at 13.00 to be relegated, while they are 1.05 to beat the drop, while they can be backed at 5.00 to make it three wins in a row by defeating Arsenal next Monday.
