West Ham manager Sam Allardyce may be the subject of speculation regarding his future, but Andy Carroll insists the players are desperate for him to stay.
The Hammers boss is due to have talks with the board of directors at the end of the season and is still on course to deliver a top half finish in the Premier League, despite a relatively disappointing second half of the season.

He also has the support of his players according to striker Carroll. He told the Evening Standard: “Everyone loves him, everyone loves the training and the routine we are in. I am sure all the lads want him to stay next season.”
West Ham had looked to be on course for an even better season after a strong start that saw them in the Champions League places.
However, a run of just two wins in 16 league games have put paid to any hopes of European football next season, though Carroll sees plenty of reasons to be optimistic for next season.
He added: “The manager is strong enough to deal with that and I think so are all the players. It is just unlucky, the way the games have been going.
“We need to start pushing for Europe next season. We started off well this season and need to maintain it all the way through.”
Carroll himself is out for the rest of the season after damaging knee ligaments in a game against Southampton in February.
The latest setback means that, out of the 32 months he has spent at Upton Park, he has been out injured for 17 of them. He is hopeful of being fit for the start of next season.
The Hammers are away at relegation threatened QPR on Saturday. They are 3.00 to win, QPR are 2.30 and the draw is 3.40.
