Petr Cech has hinted that he will leave Chelsea in the summer after being displaced as first-choice goalkeeper by Thibaut Courtois this season.

The 32-year-old Czech Republic international has spent the last decade at Stamford Bridge but has started only four of Chelsea’s 29 Premier League matches this term.

“I don’t know what the club’s idea will be,” said Cech. “It looks like it works well with me and Thibaut as a duo.

“But that can work for one season only. I don’t want another one like this. There always will be speculation. I leave it for the summer.

“It will be important to sit down with the club and with the manager to consider all the pros and cons. We will see what will work out the best.”

Cech has been linked with Real Madrid, Paris St Germain and Arsenal in the past, while Blues boss Jose Mourinho recently admitted that he would be willing to let the player leave the club at the end of this season.

“I don’t waste my time trying to persuade him, because I know nobody can persuade him,” Mourinho said. “If he tells me he wants to leave, I will tell him my opinion and my opinion is one of the three best goalkeepers in the world. Huge money.”

Chelsea are 5.50 to beat Stoke City 2-0 in their next Premier League match on 4th April and are 1.57 to keep a clean sheet against the Potters.
