Burnley boss Sean Dyche has poured scorn on speculation linking him with the managerial position at Derby County.
Reports suggests current Rams manager Steve McClaren is being lined up by Newcastle United to be their next boss, with Dyche a possible successor to the former England head coach at Derby.
However, Dyche has poured cold water on the story, saying: “I think it’s quite obvious the way I work here, I’m enjoying the challenge. I’m not looking further afield, simple as that.”

Meanwhile, the Clarets boss is looking forward to pitting his wits against Arsene Wenger on Saturday evening when Arsenal visit Turf Moor.
The Gunners have won seven Premier League matches in a row and are 8.00 to beat Burnley 2-0 this weekend but Dyche remains in a positive frame of mind.
He said: “Massive credit to Arsene Wenger for the form they are in, he is a legend of the game. The last couple of seasons he seems to have been questioned, but the perception doesn’t always tally up with what he does there.
“He is a fantastic manager – you only have to look at the success they have had down the years, the way they play, and the business and financial side of the club. As a young manager I’m still learning, but I look at people like that and think it’s unbelievable what he has achieved.”
Arsenal beat Burnley 3-0 at the Emirates in November and are 12.00 to repeat that scoreline on Saturday with Mesut Ozil available at 3.75 to score at any time in the encounter. Burnley are currently 1.66 to be relegated this season.
