Everton defender Phil Jagielka says his side are determined to end a disappointing campaign in style, having won their last three Premier League games.
The England international stabbed home the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win over Southampton at Goodison Park, as the Toffees made it three victories in a row, a run which has all but ended any lingering fears over relegation.
We know we’re not going to make up for the first three quarters of the season.

And Jagielka says it is important that the Merseysiders continue that fine run of results and give themselves a major boost foe the challenge of improving next season.
He told the club’s official website: “We know we’re not going to make up for the first three quarters of the season, but the only thing we can do now is be as positive as we can, pick up as many points as we can and give the fans some sort of buzz to end the season with.
“That’s three wins on the spin now and we’d have loved to have got this momentum with the wins and clean sheets together earlier in the season.
“But we are where we are, we’re a good bunch of lads and it’s up to us to prove to the manager and the fans that we can go on a run.
“This is the start and hopefully we can continue it. We’ve got seven more games and hopefully we continue throughout that.”
Next up for the Toffees is a tough trip to the Liberty Stadium to take on Swansea City on Saturday 11th April, with Everton 2.75 to take all three points and 3.30 to secure a draw, while City are 2.50 to secure a victory on home turf.
