Harry Kane bagged himself a fine brace as Tottenham Hotspur edged past Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road in the Premier League on Saturday.
The highly-rated striker, who is pushing hard for an England call-up, bagged his 25th and 26th goals of the season with one coming in each half.
A header for his first at the back post got Spurs up and running, before Kane rounded Rob Green for his second.
Sandro did pull a goal back for Rangers to set up a grandstand finish but Tottenham held on to claim the three points.
Kane was delighted with the win across the capital and admitted he is loving his football with Spurs.
He was quoted by BBC Sport, saying: It’s a massive win, we always seem to be winning 2-1. We looked in control, but we looked in control the other night and Hugo Lloris had to make a big save. So we have to improve in killing teams off.
“I’m loving my football, being out there with my team-mates and my mates. I feel good and confident, it’s important for a striker to have that. The second goal was a nice composed finish.
“There are a lot of top teams up there (competing for the top four) and whoever can put a run together will be right up there. That’s what we are hoping to do and it’s a big game at Old Trafford next week.”
Spurs are 4.50 to beat Manchester United and 1.75 to lose to the Red Devils, while a draw can be backed at 3.75.
