Harry Kane has once again said that he has no desire to leave Tottenham despite reports suggesting Manchester United are keen to sign him.
The 21-year-old insists he plans to start the 2015/16 season at White Hart Lane, although he admits the fact that Louis van Gaal’s side are interested in him is flattering.
He scored 31 goals in all competitions for Mauricio Pochettino’s side last season, as well as netting on his England debut in the 4-0 Euro 2016 qualifying victory against Lithuania in March.
I am happy at Spurs and I look forward to the future with Spurs.
Kane was also named the PFA’s Young Player of the Year and is currently with the England Under-21 side who are playing in the European Championship in the Czech Republic.
“I am happy at Spurs and I look forward to the future with Spurs,” said Kane.
“I have seen there is interest but that’s all I know. It is flattering for other clubs to maybe be interested.
“Tottenham are one of the big clubs. That is the way people have to see it. I am at a big club.”
Spurs can be backed at 5.50 to win their opening game of the 2015/16 season on 8th August at, ironically, Manchester United, and are available at 7.00 to finish in the top four next term.
