Southampton striker Jay Rodriguez has returned to full training after spending the last year sidelined with a knee injury.

Ronald Koeman’s side are 1.72 to clinch a top-six spot this season and 1.90 to beat Sunderland at the Stadium of Light this weekend.

Meanwhile, the club’s executive director Les Reed says Southampton want to be playing Champions League football within five years.
He said: “We’d like to think we have the structure to [reach the Champions League] in the next five years. But it’s important to be established as a top-six club over that period.
“For us, we have proven we were not a flash in the pan in terms of the Premier League, we were eighth last year and we still think we can get a top-six finish.”
