Inter coach and former Man City boss Roberto Mancini has dropped a big hint he will try and sign Yaya Toure this summer.

Mancini knows the midfielder very well from when he was in charge at the Etihad and he would love to be reunited with the Ivory Coast international in Italy.

I’m sure we’ll do some good business.

The 50-year-old, who took over at Inter in November, is a big fan of Toure, whose future at City as been called into question at times over the past 12 months.

The former Barcelona star would be on the wish-list of all the top European clubs should he be allowed to leave City and Mancini has indicated he is keen when the transfer window reopens.

He told Gazzetta TV’s Senza Appello talkshow his plans for the summer are already well underway.

“I’m sure we’ll do some good business,” he said. “Yaya Toure? He’s played in almost every league, except for Germany and Italy. If, as seems to be the case, he wants to try Serie A we’ll look into the possibility, but it won’t be easy.

“He’s a player with incredible technical ability. I’ve not come across many like him.”

Toure has helped City to two Premier League titles, an FA Cup and a League Cup since joining in 2010 and would likely only cost any suitors in the region of £10million due to the fact he is now 31.
