Mauricio Pochettino’s men can still finish fifth in the Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason says his side are determined to try and finish the Premier League season in winning fashion, with fifth place still up for grabs.

Spurs trail Liverpool on goal difference only going into the final four games of the campaign and Mason is eager to put the finishing touch to what has already been a fine season for the men from north London.

He told his club’s official website: “We want to win – we want to win every game we play. Hopefully we’ll finish the season on a positive note and then we’ll all look ahead to next season.”

Next up for Tottenham is a Sunday visit from Manchester City, who have inflicetd heavy defeats on their rivals on each of their last three meetings.

Last season the Citizens won 6-0 at the Etihad and 5-1 at White Hart Lane, while earlier this season Spurs were thumped 4-1 by City in Manchester.

Spurs can be backed at 3.75 to gain some revenge with a victory on Sunday, with the draw 3.60, while the hosts are available at 5.50 to keep a clean sheet.

Meanwhile, Spurs have confirmed that Welsh left-back Ben Davies will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery on the right shoulder he dislocated

A short statement from the White Hart Lane club read: “Ben Davies has undergone surgery after dislocating his shoulder in Saturday’s draw at Southampton.

“The Wales international will miss the remainder of the campaign.”
