Belgium forward Kevin Mirallas has pledged his future to Everton, insisting that he has never said that he wanted to move on from Goodison Park this summer.

The 27-year-old has been strongly linked with a move away from Merseyside after three years with the club, but MIrallas insists that his only focus is on helping the Toffees finish the Premier League season in a positive fashion.

He told the Echo: “At the start of the season I was very happy with my form.

I never said I wanted to leave.

“I had come back from injury and started the season really, really well and people speaking about me wanting to leave has never come from me.

“When you have a good start to the season and you are playing well, people are maybe showing a bit of an interest in you. But the supporters can rest assured that it never came from me and I never said I wanted to leave.”

Mirallas has netted 21 league goals in 86 appearances for Everton since his £6million arrival from Olympiakos in August 2012.

The Belgian will be in action again on Saturday Everton head to Upton Park to take on West Ham, with the Merseysiders shorn of the services of England left-back Leighton Baines, who will miss the closing two games of the campaign after undergoing ankle surgery.

Mirallas, who is the second highest scorer in the league for Everton this season, is 3.40 to score at any time against the Hammers, with the Toffees 2.55 to win the game and 10.00 to triumph by a 2-1 scoreline.
