Jose Mourinho has suggested that he will take Radamel Falcao to Chelsea this summer by claiming he can help him “reach his level again”.
The Blues boss confirmed last weekend that he needs to bring another striker into Stamford Bridge after Didier Drogba’s departure, while doubts surround the futures of Loic Remy and Patrick Bamford.
And Colombia international, Falcao, has been heavily linked with a move to link up with the Premier League champions in this summer transfer window.
If I can help Falcao reach his level again, I will do it.

The 29-year-old endured a dismal season-long loan at Chelsea’s Premier League rivals Manchester United last term, where he struggled for form and only scored four goals in 29 appearances.
Falcao is keen to leave Monaco on a permanent deal this summer, while the French Ligue 1 outfit are willing to sell, and Mourinho now looks set to make a bid.
The Portuguese tactician believes he can help Falcao get back to being the player he was when scoring goals on a regular basis with former clubs Porto and Atletico Madrid.
“If I can help Falcao reach his level again, I will do it,” Mourinho, who also insisted that Juan Cuadrado will not be leaving Chelsea after just six months, told DirecTV Sports.
“It hurts me that people in England think that the real Falcao is the one we saw at Manchester United.”
Chelsea can be backed at 2.50 to retain their Premier League title next season, while they are 9.00 to win the Champions League.
