Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is determined to see his side secure more silverware, with the Capital One Cup already in the Stamford Bridge trophy cabinet.
The Portuguese was speaking after seeing his side win 1-0 at West Ham to maintain their five-point lead at the top of the Premier League table, with the Blues also still involved in the Champions League.
Mourinho told reporters: “Now we are trying to build. We have one cup in the pocket, let’s see what we can do.
We have one cup in the pocket, let’s see what we can do.
“What’s kept us top of the league since day one is the quality of our football, but sometimes we lose a little bit of what brought us to this position.
“When good football is not enough, we fight, we suffer together, we cope with difficult moments.
“Some periods we had to defend with everything. It’s a game where you easily can lose two points. We were expecting that – great victory for us.”
Chelsea can be backed at 1.11 to win the Premier League this season, with Manchester City 8.00 and Arsenal 51.00.
Meanwhile, Mourinho also confirmed that midfielder Nemanja Matic should be fit and ready for the Champions League clash with Paris St Germain next week, having suffered an ankle injury while celebrating the Capital One Cup victory.
“Matic is injured and he got an injury celebrating the cup,” Mourinho added. “It’s not a big injury.
“He twisted his ankle. On the pitch, he put on shinpads but he didn’t put the tape on. He will play against Paris. On Saturday, Sunday, he will train.”
