Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho admits he would not be averse to letting Petr Cech leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

The Czech Republic international has been forced to play second fiddle to Thibaut Courtois this season after enjoying a decade as the Blues’ undisputed first-choice goalkeeper.

The 32-year-old recently hinted that he would be keen to move on at the end of this season and it appears that Mourinho would not stand in his way.

I think he won the right to be part of a discussion and a decision.

“Petr Cech is not a player – he’s an institution,” said the former FC Porto, Inter Milan and Real Madrid manager.

“Ten years in goal, going through everything he went through, great moments and sad moments, dying on the pitch. Chelsea gave him a lot, but for what he is giving to the club still, he deserves a special perspective.

“I think he won the right to be part of a discussion and a decision.”

Chelsea are 1.33 to win at QPR next weekend. QPR are currently available at 1.28 to be relegated this season.
