Norwich City manager Alex Neil is excited by the challenge ahead, having agreed a new long-term contract with the Carrow Road club.
Neil took charge of the Canaries in January and guided them into the Championship play-offs, where they eventually secured an immediate return to the top-flight by defeating Middlesbrough 2-0 in the Wembley final.
I’ve really enjoyed my five months at the club, hopefully it is just the beginning as we now look forward to playing in the Premier League.
And Neil is now planning for even stiffer test of trying to maintain a place in the Premier League next season, with the added security of a new deal safely in place.
He told the club’s official website: “I’m delighted to sign a new contract with Norwich City.
“Both parties were taking a chance when I was appointed, but it’s worked out very well for all involved and I’m happy this has been sorted before the season gets underway.

Norwich have made just one signing so far this summer, having completed a deal for West Brom midfielder Graham Dorrans, who ended last season on loan with the East Anglian outfit.
City are 2.10 to be relegated next season, with Bournemouth 2.10 and Watford 1.72.
Meanwhile, former City striker Luciano Becchio has sealed a move back to his hometown club, Belgrano Cordoba, signing a one-year contract with the Argentinian club.
