Galatasaray have decided to end their interest in Germany international Lukas Podolski who is surplus to requirements at Arsenal.
Podolski was linked with a move to the Istanbul-based side in January but he opted to join Inter Milan on loan instead.
However, after an under-whelming stint in Italy, the Serie A side decided not to take up the option to make the transfer permanent at the end of the season.
Galatasaray manager Hamza Hamzaoglu insisted: “Podolski is not on our radar right now. He was in the winter but not right now.”
Podolski scored just one goal in 19 appearances for Inter Milan last season. The 30-year-old has scored 19 goals in 60 Premier League appearances for Arsenal since moving to north London from Cologne for £11million three years ago.
Meanwhile, the Gunners are being linked with a move for Geoffrey Kondogbia.
It is believed that Arsene Wenger has made an initial £18.2million bid for the 22-year-old Monaco midfielder.
The Gunners are 5.50 to win the Premier League title outright next season, while Chelsea can be backed at 2.50, Manchester City at 3.75 and Manchester United at 6.00.
