Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew is keen to establish the Eagles in the Premier League in the next few seasons.

In the past Palace have struggled to stay in the top-flight for more than a short spell, but former Newcastle United boss Pardew thinks there is enough quality in the current squad for the side from the capital to become a force to be reckoned with.

Palace will be starting their third season in a row in the Premier League in two months’ time after Pardew lifted the club away from the relegation zone in the second half of the 2014/15 campaign and he is keen to build on that momentum.

This summer this club will work hard to invest to make this a really stable Premier League club.

He said: “There is tremendous technical talent here, which I think was better than I thought it would be, and I have managed to harness that to use it to the best effect for the club.

“This summer this club will work hard to invest to make this a really stable Premier League club, it’s not going to be easy because expectations will begin to rise.

“This football club has always been about overcoming difficult hurdles but now we are ready to fight the big clubs and from the heart of our community can establish something very special here.”

Crystal Palace are 3.50 to finish in the top half of the Premier League table in 2015/16 and can be backed at 6.00 to be relegated. They are also available at 41.00 to win the FA Cup next season.
