Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew is not willing to take anything for granted despite being eight points off the relegation zone.
Recent 3-1 victories over both West Ham United and Queens Park Rangers have given Palace some vital breathing space in their bid to avoid the drop this term.
Pardew has been able to turn things around in his relatively short time at Selhurst Park, following the departure of his predecessor Neil Warnock.
The Eagles are preparing to face Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday and Pardew is determined to keep hip his team grounded.
He said: “It’s always difficult at the Britannia, but we are looking forward to this fixture, we are playing well and we will be a test for Stoke.
“When you’ve won the way to look is up. If you’ve lost you look down. All teams go through different phases of form and we’re in a good phase, and we want to try to keep that going.”
Palace are 3.75 to win, 3.30 to draw and 2.20 to lose to the Potters.
