Manuel Pellegrini has pledged that his Manchester City side will continue with their attacking methods in the city derby against United at Old Trafford.
The Citizens have lost three of their last five league games to fall nine points behind leaders Chelsea and, more importantly, have dropped below both United and Arsenal in the battle to secure a top-four spot.
We are not a disaster, we’re not a mess. We are doing a lot of things well.

However, Pellegrini has refused to change his approach to games, despite those three losses having come in their last three games on the road – at Liverpool, Burnley and Crystal Palace.
He told reporters: “Never is to draw a good result. I understand we are not having the results that we need playing away – 2015 is not a good year for us – but before that we were the best team playing away.
“We hope we continue keeping the good things we are doing, because we are not a disaster, we’re not a mess. We are doing a lot of things well.
“We must improve because we are not having the results we need, but never in my way of thinking are we happy with a draw.”
Pellegrini is waiting on the fitness of captain Vincent Kompany, who is a doubt for the derby due to a hamstring problem.
The Chilean added: “We will see tomorrow (Saturday) if he can play or not. It is always better to play with Kompany but if, for different reasons, he cannot play not we have a squad and he must be replaced.”
City can be backed at 2.80 to win at Old Trafford, with the draw 3.40, while the Red Devils are 2.70 to win the derby for the first time in five meetings.
