QPR boss Chris Ramsey was left disappointed by his side’s 3-3 draw at relegation rivals Aston Villa on Tuesday.
The Loftus Road side twice took the lead but Christian Benteke’s hat-trick ensured the spoils were shared at Villa Park.
Ramsey concedes Villa’s 83rd minute equaliser has put a dint in QPR’s survival hopes, but he remains convinced his side can avoid relegation.
QPR take on Chelsea on Sunday, but Ramsey is already looking ahead to the home games against Newcastle and West Ham as potentially vital in their battle to retain their Premier League status.
He told London24: “I’m disappointed if I’m being honest. But before the game if someone said we’d get four points from the last two games we probably would have taken that.”
He added: “I don’t know what we need but we’re probably going to have to win three games. I don’t know what the points total will be but our two home games are going to be very important after Chelsea.
“We have got a couple of very difficult ones in Liverpool and Manchester City and then we have the potential cup final against Leicester on the last day of the season.
“Most teams would take being in it right to the end and then roll the dice, you don’t want to start being detached because it’s a big mountain to climb.”
QPR are not to be relegated 4.00 after Tuesday’s draw, while Villa are 1.28 to avoid the drop.
