New signing Franck Tabanou believes that Swansea City are a perfect match with him as he undertakes a new challenge in the Premier League next season.
The 26-year-old, who can play on the left side of either defence or midfield, has agreed a three-year contract with the Swans, having opted to move on from St Etienne after two seasons.

And the former France Under-21 international is confident that he has made the right choice, telling the official City website: “Swansea is a very good Premier League club and I believe it’s the right move forward for me at this stage of my career.
“I wanted to come to Swansea because I believe we are the perfect match. I like the way they play the game – their whole philosophy on football.
“I am keen to show I am able to perform in the Premier League – the best league in the world.”
Tabanou is the second major Swansea arrival from France in the last few days, with Marseille forward Andre Ayew having also opted to try his luck in South Wales, while James Beattie has also been brought in as assistant to manager Garry Monk.
The Swans are hoping to build on an eight-placed finish last season, with City having narrowly missed out on European football next season.
Swansea can be backed at 2.25 to finish in the top half of the table next season and are 67.00 to secure a top-four spot, while they are available at 9.00 to be relegated.
