Transfer Talk: Szczesny, De Bruyne & Zlatan rumours

Manchester City look ready to bolster their midfield once again as they prepare to break the bank for Kevin De Bruyne.

The Citizens are willing to pay a British record £60million for the Belgian this summer, according to the Daily Mirror, after being linked with him all summer.

According to reports, the former Chelsea midfielder has told Wolfsburg he wants to leave despite only moving to the Bundesliga side 19 months ago. De Bruyne has gone from strength to strength and appears to be ready to join City on a five-year deal.

City have already added Fabian Delph and Raheem Sterling to their squad this summer but are prepared to bring the 24-year-old to the Etihad Stadium as they try to win the Premier League title once again.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has refused to commit his future to Paris Saint-Germain, as rumours continue to link him with Manchester United.

The Red Devils are on the lookout for a new striker and the Sweden international insists his future depends on his agent.

He told Sky Italia: “Should I stay in Paris? My future is in the hands of Mino Raiola.”

PSG boss Laurent Blanc claimed Ibrahimovic was staying earlier this month, but the former AC Milan striker could be on his way before the end of the transfer window.

The Daily Mail believe Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has agreed to join Roma on loan for the season. The Poland international will move to the Serie A giants for an initial payment of £250,000 after falling out of favour at the Emirates.

Roma were hoping to secure the keeper on a permanent basis, however the Gunners will look to consider their options over the next 12 months.

After rejecting a move last season, Liverpool striker Fabio Borini now appears to be on his way out of Anfield.

The former Swansea striker was wanted by Sunderland last year after a successful loan spell in the north east, but decided to try and fight for a place on Merseyside.

According to the Daily Star, Borini is wanted by Lazio, Fiorentina and Bologna. His agent, Marco De Marchi, is hopeful they can secure a move to La Viola who were impressive in the Europa League last season.
