Rafael Benitez is confident that Sergio Ramos, who has been linked with a transfer to Manchester United this summer, will remain at Real Madrid.
Earlier this month the 29-year-old Spain international defender hinted that he would be staying at the Santiago Bernabeu and former Liverpool and Chelsea boss Benitez also believes that will be the case.
United reportedly failed with a £28.6million bid for Ramos earlier in the summer, while Los Blancos continue to be linked with a move to sign the Premier League side’s goalkeeper David De Gea.
I see Sergio as an integral part of our team, he’s a winner and that’s what we need in our team.

Ramos, who has scored 40 goals and made 313 league appearance since moving to Real a decade ago, was believed to be ready to leave the Spanish capital.
However, Benitez, said: “For me, he is an enormous professional. In person, he applies himself, he does everything that the team and I ask of him.
“And for me, the matter (is that) the president has already commented that he is staying with the club.
“I have spoken to him at length in the summer about his ideas, about his future. I see Sergio as an integral part of our team. He’s a winner and that’s what we need in our team.”
Real Madrid are 2.62 to win the La Liga title in 2015/16, with last season’s champions Barcelona 1.72 and Atletico Madrid available at 15.00.
