Atletico Madrid’s Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic is very unlikely to leave the Spanish outfit this summer according to his agent, Ivan Cvjetkovic.
The 29-year-old moved to the Vicente Calderon from Bayern Munich a year ago and netted 12 goals in 27 appearances in La Liga as Atleti finished in third place in the table.
I don’t see any reason why he should not fulfil his contact.

However, he has been heavily linked with interest from clubs in both Italy and England, but Cvjetkovic believes that his client is more than content to stay put in the Spanish capital.
He told Croatian paper Tportal: “Mario was unhappy recently because he had stopped scoring and that affected him, but that was also down to Atletico Madrid.
“In spite of this, this Atletico side still qualified for the Champions League and won the Supercopa de Espana, so there’s no reason to think he’s totally unsatisfied.
“When you go to a new league, the first year is always one of adaptation. Mario adapted to both the club and the city.
“I don’t see any reason why he should not fulfil his contact.”
Atletico are available at 15.00 to win La Liga next season, with Real Madrid 2.62 and Barcelona 1.72.
Meanwhile, Manchester United, one of the clubs linked with Mandzukic, are also reported to be in the hunt for Hoffenheim forward Roberto Firmino, with the Brazilian’s agent having confirmed that his man is on the way to England this summer.
Roger Wittmann told Bild: “All I can say is that he will go to England.”
